Shortly following the release of part 1, the series rerecieved a couple hundred views, 2 comments, and 2 5/5 ratings. The series then had a streak of 1 comment + 1 5/5 rating for 5 movies up until part 6. There were no comments or ratings on part 7. The series was extremely unpopular for many parts afterwards. As for the ending of the series, part 30 got 1 comment and a 5/5 rating, part 31 got a comment and 2 3/5 ratings, and lastly, part 32 got 1 comment and a 5/5 rating.

- In the series, Edgar and Eva were friends rather than a brother and sister duo. At the end of the series it is revealed that Edgar and Eva got married when they grew up and introduced the magic tricks book to their children.
- The series is called "Magic Tricks", however part 13 was purposefully named "13's story part 13", while part 32 was titled "magic tricks book 32". It is unknown if the re-title on that particular part was intentional.
