All three of us turned around in a startled reaction. The way we had come in through, at the back of the room, was now obstructed by a figure almost completely cloaked in black, with its only revealing feature its discolored hands, which appeared to be decaying into a hopeless mixture of blood-red and pale.
Eva held a button on her earpiece. “This is Eva. We’ve got the item, but there’s trouble.”
She released the button as the figure stood motionless. There was no reply. She tried again: “Guys, did you hear me? We have the item but there’s a potential threat blocking the entrance. Danger scale level looks to be a six or seven. No other detected threats in the area. Do you copy?”

The systems of Neue were heavily influenced by the media distribution software Steam, as demonstrated by the implementation of virtual trading cards, badges, and dynamic profiles. Neue 2 was to expand upon this, rewarding users for supporting the community with decorative profile changes. Neue 2 is the follow-up to 2013’s Neue Update, a major overhaul to the Wiki that was designed to encourage activity in the Zimmer Twins community. The reactions and criticisms of the Neue Update have been acknowledged: Neue 2 will behave like a non-intrusive addend rather than a forced integration, as it will be hosted on a separate subdomain, returning full power of the Wiki to the users; in addition, the currency system, along with other features deemed pointless, have been removed entirely, and remaining features have been thoroughly revamped to serve much more purpose, rewarding members who choose to participate.
